Julie Lord

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Julie Lord is the practice lead nurse who is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP). Julie is an experienced, registered nurse who has undergone extra training and qualifications at an advanced level to enable her to see and treat a wide range of patients.


Julie works closely with the GPs and can: Fully assess patients, Make diagnoses, Prescribe medicines and treatment, Plan follow-up treatment and reviews, Refer patients for tests and investigations and Refer patients to specialists if needed. 


Julie can see anyone that a GP would normally see but she does not see children under the age of three, pregnant women, and patients with severe mental health problems. 


If Julie is unable to meet your healthcare needs, she will always ensure that you are seen by your GP.

Natalie Geraghty

RN, Practice Nurse

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
